Informative and thoughtful write. There's much to think about after 61 years of swatantrata.
You are right about BPO salaries being meagre but at least they are a source of employment, and since the cost of living is much lower in India, I'm told they virtually amount to the same.
Customer service personnel in USA also work on national holidays, so that's the nature of the job rather than anything else.
Overall, it's not a pretty picture though...Another 61 years for things to change sounds realistic given the pace at which we are moving!

The messing up of relationships starts and ends in the head. In real life, virginity is not as overrated as in Hindi films. I think this whole thing has been blown out of proportion thanks to Hindi movies...

So this guy fell in love with this nut case who fancies being a tragedy queen...and he even wants to marry her.
